This 6-week course is designed for complete beginners. Together, we will learn the fundamental skills that every artist uses: observation, proportion, light and shadow, texture, and drawing from life.

No previous experience is required.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Draw everyday objects with confidence.
  • Understand proportion and observation.
  • Create convincing light and shadow.
  • Build a complete drawing from life.

1 class per week
2 hours per class

Complete beginners

Small groups
(min. 3 students, max. 5 participants) for personalized guidance.

Pencil, eraser, sharpener, and sketchbook.

Hello, I'm Eva Araos, a graphic designer and illustrator based in the Netherlands.

Drawing has been part of my life for more than 20 years, and I truly believe that anyone can learn to draw with the right guidance and practice. Whether you have never picked up a pencil before or simply want to improve your skills, this course is designed to help you gain confidence and enjoy the creative process.

My goal is to create a friendly and encouraging atmosphere where students can learn at their own pace while discovering the joy of drawing.
